I have been thinking about interiors since I was 7 years old. I grew up in a small town in BC and rearranged my bedroom constantly, even though the space was tiny. When my uncle told me that interior designers could actually move walls, I looked at the wall behind him and said: 'You mean I can push that out a couple of feet?' That was it. I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

I graduated from the University of Manitoba with my Bachelor of Interior Design in 1999. Over the years I have worked across hospitality, multi-family residential, and single family residential design, building a technical range that spans space planning, structural changes, custom millwork, colour, materials, and full project management. But it was always the private home that called me back. Twelve years ago I made that my sole focus, because there is nothing quite like designing a space that is deeply, unmistakably personal to the person living in it.

Most of my clients do not know that when they first reach out. They know their home is stressing them out. The storage does not work. The flow is wrong. Something is off and they cannot name it. They have been adapting around it for so long they have stopped seeing it clearly. And they have no idea where to start.

What they do not yet see is that the home they want is completely possible.

Every project begins with function. What is not working and why? What does this space need to do that it currently does not? Aesthetics are the expression of a problem well solved. They come last.

And when both are right, when a space works beautifully and functions effortlessly, something shifts. You feel it the moment you walk in.

My work is known for intentional use of colour, layered textures, and expressive design. But just as important is what you do not see right away: the structure, the flow, and the way everything comes together to support your actual life.

I work with your existing pieces whenever possible. I never assume a clean slate. I design something that could only be yours, not a template, not a trend, not my aesthetic imposed on your space.

Over the years I have developed a fully managed approach that allows clients to move through the process with clarity and confidence, without being pulled into every detail. You approve the things that matter. I handle the rest.

I live in North Vancouver with my husband and twin sons, so I understand firsthand what it means to run a full, busy household. That is not background detail. It shapes how I design.
