POINT GREY CONDO MAJOR RENOVATION + FURNITURE

My clients were two semi-retired professionals who moved for the neighborhood: walks to Jericho Beach, coffee on West 4th, Sundays in Kits. When this water-view condo came up, they jumped on it.

The spacious 1,500 sq ft home had great bones but had never been renovated since the building was completed in 1956. Their brief was clear: preserve the building’s character, bring in colour, and maximize storage wherever possible.

We took it back to the studs and reimagined every room. Four accent colours – blue, green, red, and yellow – are woven through the space in mosaic bathroom tiles, painted bookcase backs, upholstery, and wallpaper, creating continuity and personality in every room. Modern storage solutions were added throughout, while respecting the home’s mid-century roots.

The result is a colourful home that honours its history and feels deeply personal to the people who live there.
