VANCOUVER CONDO RENOVATION

My clients were a professional couple who had lived in their condo for several years before deciding to make it their own. We focused on the kitchen, main bathroom, and ensuite.

They knew they wanted dark wood accents in the kitchen, and I knew they would love a very specific backsplash tile: prints taken from photographs of Berlin Wall graffiti. They fell in love with it immediately, so we kept the upper cabinets simple and light to let the backsplash be the clear focal point.

In the bathrooms, they wanted interesting tile without feeling busy. We created a striped effect by alternating white and gray tiles, using skinny tiles in the main bath and wider ones in the ensuite for a subtle but distinctive variation.

They now have a modern, highly personal home that feels uniquely theirs.
